Returning Officials

To be a “Member in Good Standing” and Eligible for Games:

  • Pay Dues online or via check through your profile by May 31st (update profile if necessary)
  • Complete the online NFHS Concussion Course
  • Pay annual MIAA dues of $10 per sport and complete a background check if needed (this process becomes available after July 1st here)
  • Complete the BFHUA Rules Test (available online August 1st)

Other In-Person Requirements:

  • Attend a Mandatory Pre-Season Meeting
  • Attend a Play Day to fulfill Rating/Re-rating sessions as required. If you are unsure whether you need to re-rate, log into the website and click "My Profile" to find out.
  • Officiate a BFHUA Playday
  • Visit the Online Store if you need to update your closet with a new BFHUA shirt or jacket
